Dutchie Inventory Room Sharing With API Partners

As a Dutchie user you do have the ability to hide certain inventory rooms from your API partners that you do not want to be included in the data you're sharing. In Headset's case, this can be rooms like quarantined inventory, returns, samples, etc.

Below you'll find the instructions on how to share or exclude inventory with us as a partner.

Please Note - If you do not see the below settings available when you attempt the changes, you will want to locate the location setting "assign room to menus".
( Backoffice Settings Locations > enable the "Assign room to menus." ) You will need to enable this setting for each of your store locations.

Once you enable this, you will see a new field under each ecomm room. From there you can go into your ecommerce rooms and ensure that each ecomm integration is selected within that field.

Instructions:

***Navigate to Settings —-> Rooms ——> select the room (i.e sales floor) —-> select the field for "room accessible by menus:" and select Headset.

You will need to do this for all of the rooms you want to be sent over. Headset should then be able to see the inventory in the API call. **

Please Note: -Each room that will be viewable by Headset will need to have "E-Commerce Room" selected as an option, even if this room is not meant to broadcast to online menus.*

"E-Commerce Room" is a bit of a misnomer, it means "API Accessible".

Even though Headset is not an online menu integration you will still need to have "E-Commerce Room" Selected, this will display the "Room Accessible by Menus" dropdown on each room, where Headset will need to be specifically nominated as an API that has access to this room.

Despite this saying 'E-Commerce', unless you specifically select iHeartJane, Leafly, or Weedmaps from the "Room Accessible by menus" Dropdown, the inventory from these rooms will still not be accessible to those other integrations API.

In short: Select 'E-Commerce Room' for all rooms you wish to be accessible by Headset, then select Headset from the 'Rooms Accessible by Menus' dropdown, but no other integrations you do not wish to see this inventory.
