About this Dashboard

What is it?

This dashboard is designed to allow you to delve into a single category and gain a better understanding of the items within those baskets. Use the category filter at the top to select a single category and examine the contents of baskets that contain that category.

By using this dashboard, you can learn more about consumer purchase behavior, including what items are frequently purchased together (attachment rate) and how much a person who buys Category X also spends on Category Y (Composition).

Date Limitation: This dashboard has a 15-month limitation on historical data.

Basket Composition

In these visualizations, you will discover the composition of baskets containing the selected category. For instance, if you choose "Flower" as your category, you will see the total sales for baskets containing Flower. You might notice that Flower accounts for only 50% of the content in Flower baskets, with PreRolls also making up a significant portion of sales.

You can use this data to make informed decisions about consumer purchase behavior. For example, if you are a Flower manufacturer and you observe that the percentage of Flower baskets containing Pre-Rolls is increasing over time, you might consider adding a few Pre-Rolls to your product offerings.

Attachment Rate

This visualization presents the attachment rate, which is the percentage of baskets containing the selected category that also contain the given category. For instance, if you select "Pre-Rolls" and see an attachment rate of 50% for "Flower," it means that 50% of Pre-Roll baskets also contain a Flower item.

You can use this information to understand how often products are purchased together. For instance, if you find that "Beverages" are frequently purchased alongside "Edibles," you may want to use this information to plan marketing campaigns.
