Activity Feed
About this dashboard
The Activity Feed in Bridge Signal is a great way to maintain your competitive edge. Activity feed could be utilized by Retail operators and Brands alike, to make sure you’re keeping pace with the competition.
Once on Activity Feed, you’ll notice immediately a list of filtering options down the right side of the page. The first field in your filters, allows you to search for and use any saved filtering that you may have set up on the previous dashboard.
If you did not save any filters on prior dashboards, you can still manually narrow your search results, by City, Store/Company, Product Category, Brand, and activity type.
You will see that there are 7 activity types we are currently tracking in Signal. These activity types would only apply to your brand if you have your brand chosen in the filtering. Otherwise, you’re seeing activities based on any store and any brand in the market.
Brand Added: Anytime a new brand is added to a store’s menu - this would be defined as a brand they previously did not carry
When looking at Brand added, you will be able to see what brand was added to this store’s menu, when it was added, and the address of the store where they began stocking that brand.
Brand Removed: Similar to brand added, you will see a list of dispensaries who recently removed a brand from their menu.
Price Change: This activity type will show you if any products on menus in your area had price increases or decreases. This can shed some light on how your industry “neighbors” are pricing things and make sure you’re staying competitive with your offerings.
Product Added: This activity type will let you know when a new product has appeared on an online menu. This can be helpful if you’re tracking specific flavors, strains, or product types in your area.
Product Removed: Similarly to “product added”, we can show you menus where a product was recently removed from the online menu. This could be due to a stock out of the product, or a permanent removal. This opens up opportunities for dispensaries to potentially get some customer foot traffic if you have that item available and your neighboring store does not. For brands, this can be indicative of stock outs allowing a conversation to be started with the store about ordering more.
Promotion: This activity type will show you promotions running at the dispensaries in your area that they’ve listed on their Leafly menus. Looking at the type of promotions being run in your area, can help you determine what types of promotions you may want to run in your business to promote more foot traffic, allow you to keep tabs on the percent discounts other businesses use most often, or what promotions you’d like to perhaps avoid, so you can stand out from your neighboring businesses.
Store Added: This activity type will inform you that a new store/menu has become available on Leafly. This could be beneficial as a prospecting tool, for new companies to approach as a brand. It can also inform expansion efforts of existing companies or the issuing of new retail licenses when you’re operating in a newly recreational market.
